Zebedeo Arellano, age 80 passed away on January 11, 2026 peacefully at his home surrounded with his loved ones by his side. Beyo was born on January 20, 1945 to Estevan and Camilla Arellano in Gallina New Mexico. He lived most of his life in Santa Fe NM, where he meet his lovely and beautiful wife in Tesuque NM.
Beyo was married for 55 years to his long life companion, best friend, and the love of his life Frances Arellano.
Beyo was blessed with 4 children. Daniel Montoya and wife Tommie, Irene Baca and husband Benny, Lorraine Montoya and husband Leo. His youngest son Gerald Montoya.
He also had 11 grandchildren. Angelic and Tiffany Baca, Yvette Rodriguez, Brianna and Brittany Montoya, Marianna, Cruzito and Miranda Montoya.
He had the privilege to enjoy the love of his 10 great grandchildren. James and Julian, Janayah, Arianna, Jacyon and Iris, Mariah and Aliyah, and Nicholas...
Beyo had a best friend who he admired and adored with all his heart. Ever Morales and wife Yahaira. Ever was a true friend and neighbor who was always there to lend a helping hand or just to talk with anytime day or night.
He also had his life long friends Estaven and Steve Anaya, Joe Martinez, and Archie...
Beyo lived his life to the fullest, through simple pleasures with friends and family.
He had an appreciation for the outdoors. Finding great joy in fishing. He would always make it a fun competition between his sons and daughters. He would tell them who ever catches the biggest fish wins. And when he would be the one who lost his reply was always the reason you won was because I taught you how to fish and if it wasn't for me teaching you, you would not have never won. He always knew of ways to keep us smiling.
He also enjoyed camping and hunting. He loved any outdoor activities that included his wife family and friends.
His legacy will continue to live on through the love he inspired and endured with his family.
He will be deeply missed and remembered by everybody.
His memory will live on not just in the stories we tell, but in the way we keep his love in our hearts.
A funeral service and rosary will be held at Riveras Funeral Home.
