She never met a stranger and welcomed everyone with kindness, compassion, and generosity. Blessed with healing hands and a gift of her traditional “medica” skills, Viola lovingly cared for countless babies and families throughout her life. Her nurturing spirit, selfless heart, and unwavering love for others will be remembered always. The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to Kellie Vigil, the PCU staff at Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center, and the compassionate caregivers at CenterWell Home Health for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Viola. Special thanks are also extended to the choir and the family's musician friends for honoring Viola through the beautiful music she loved so dearly and for Robert and Berna Baca, her homebound Eucharistic ministers. The family is grateful to Brian Sandoval, the staff at Frankie's Restaurant, and the American Legion Post #70 in Pecos for their generosity and assistance with the family meal following the services. Finally, to our family, friends, neighbors, and everyone who has offered prayers, support, and acts of kindness during this difficult time, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your love and compassion have been a source of strength and comfort, and we will forever be grateful. Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find peace knowing that Viola's beautiful soul is now reunited with those who have gone before her and rests forever in the loving embrace of our Lord. Her legacy of faith, love, kindness, and family will continue to live on in all who were blessed to know and love her.
