Victoria Gallegos, born on April 3, 1987, in Tucumcari, New Mexico, passed away unexpectedly on December 7, 2025, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who touched the lives of many through her kindness, laughter, and love for family.

Victoria was a loving mother to her children: Micah Lopez-Danielson, Marcelina Gallegos, MariaBella Gallegos, and Xzavier Gallegos, with whom she shared countless joyful moments.

She was the cherished daughter of Ida Gallegos, with whom she shared a special and enduring bond. As the youngest child, Victoria held a unique place in her mother’s heart, and their connection was a source of strength and love throughout her life.

Victoria was a loving sister to Orlando Gallegos (Melissa) and Elizabeth Jaramillo (Adreien). She was also a caring aunt to her nieces and nephews: Adreien, Isabella, and Angel Jaramillo; and Malachi, Ezekiel, Noah, Josiah Larranaga, Faith, Hope, and Love Gallegos. She shared a special connection with each of them and was fondly remembered by Isabella as “Aunty Toria.” Those who knew Victoria often spoke of her sense of humor, her laughter, and her joyful spirit. She felt life deeply and fully, and her warmth and humor left a lasting impression on everyone around her.

Victoria faced significant challenges throughout her life, yet she remained committed to learning and growth. With the support of her mother, she earned her GED and continued her education, reflecting her determination and dedication to personal and professional development.

Victoria's warmth and positive spirit shone brightly in her everyday life. She was passionate about baking, a pursuit that she enjoyed both professionally and in her free time. Her family fondly remembers her as a health food and smoothie enthusiast, often seen preparing nutritious blends packed with fruits and vegetables, along with various health-boosting powders. Her adventurous spirit was evident in her love for the outdoors, from a young age she enjoyed riding her bike, exploring, swimming in the river, hiking and camping. She treasured her time hiking in Tesuque and Nambe Falls where she found joy in the natural beauty around her, particularly in making the climb to the iconic three crosses.

Faith was a meaningful part of Victoria’s life. She learned and prayed the Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, and Angel prayers, which brought pride to her mother. Her spiritual journey was personal and evolving, and she found comfort and inspiration in her own way throughout her life. She was a good person who would stand up for herself when needed, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her.

Victoria is preceded in death by her father, Gerald Thomas Gallegos, and her grandmother, Corrine Gutierrez.

A viewing service in her honor will take place on December 26, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Rivera Family Funeral & Cremations of Santa Fe, located at 417 East Rodeo Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87505.

Victoria’s life will be remembered for her laughter, her love of family and friends, her adventurous spirit, and the joy and warmth she brought to all who knew her.
