Theresa Turnbough

Mary Theresa (See) Turnbough passed away October 17, 2026 at her home in Santa Fe surrounded by her family after a long fight with Alzheimer’s. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was born in Albuquerque, NM and worked as a legal secretary until she met her husband, Bob Turnbough. They married in Albuquerque on May 17, 1980. After their children, Bobby and Rachel, were born Bob and Theresa moved to Santa Fe, NM. Her greatest love was the growth and well-being of her kids. She became a stay-at-home mom and office manager for their construction company. She was extremely active in the elementary PTA. Bob and Theresa spent endless hours working on fundraising events including building a Benefit House which led to hosting several large silent auctions because of the tremendous donations received. She will be remembered for her kindness and vibrant smile. She was an avid crafter and amateur seamstress. She had a tremendous love for her entire family and cherished her life-long friendships. She had unwavering Christian belief in God and Jesus and their love for all people.

Theresa is survived by her husband, Bob Turnbough; her children, Rachel Lury (Eric), and Bobby Turnbough; and bonus grandson, Alec; brothers, Clay See (Joanie), Jim See (Sylvia), and Tom See; sister, Adrienne Palacio (Sonny); sisters-in-law, Linda Bogle, and Laura Gillespie (Stan); brother-in-law, Dick Turnbough (Barbara); and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents, Frank and Helen See, sister, Mary Paula See, and brother, John Paul See.

Services will be held Friday, November, 20, 2026 at 10:00 am at Rivera’s Funeral Home, burial at the Veteran’s Cemetery at 12:30 pm, and a reception at 1:30 at the Santa Fe Woman’s Club.
