Teresa "Terri" Tafoya

Teresa “Terri” Tafoya, 74, of Santa Fe, passed away July 26, 2022. She is survived by her husband; Pete Tafoya, son; Peter Tafoya (Jennifer Cardona), daughter; Rebecca Simenson (Justin), grandchildren; Makayla Cardona, Michael Tafoya, Cora Simenson, Soren Simenson, sisters; Joan Ferran (Leo) sisters-in-law; Diedree Tafoya and Patricia Marlin.

Terri is preceded in death by, her mom Cora Mae Blaising, her sisters; Betty Hoffman, Mary York and Dorthy Blaising.

Terri was an active member at Santa Maria De La Paz Church. She was an excellent seamstress and volunteered at the Prayer Shawl Ministry.

She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and her grandkids were her most treasured blessings.

Services are scheduled for August 5, 2022 at Santa Maria De La Paz with a Rosary starting at 9:30am and the Funeral Mass at 10:00am. Interment wil follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
