Sondra Tudor-Finch, born January 3, 1950, passed away peacefully at home on October 26, 2026. She leaves behind her beloved husband John Finch; her brother, Greg Jones, ( Patricia Johnston) ; nieces and nephews Elliot Jones (Katie) , Dylan and Eli Jones ; Catie Johnston-Brooks (Bryan), Emma and Jack Brooks.

Sondra grew up in New Zealand and to her it always felt like home. Sondra’s family moved to Albuquerque at her age of 17 and as a young adult she began to explore the United States and the world with her adventuring heart. Ultimately she made her home in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she lived for the past 44 years. She was an entrepreneur, an astute businesswomen, and her imagination allowed her to see many possibilities and potential. She embraced lifelong education and after completing her studies at UNM, she achieved certifications in many fields including permaculture , master gardening, fine arts, Jungian psychology, and real estate. For many years, she operated a well-known fine jewelry and clothing business in Santa Fe. Starting at the world famous “Trader Jack’s” Santa Fe Flea Market, and eventually opening “Articulations” on San Francisco Street. Sondra eventually moved into wholesaling as “Beauty and the Bliss” and at one time she had over 30 retailers around the country carrying her beautiful products.

In her later years, she became a realtor, a testament to her boundless energy, her love of learning, and a commitment to growth. She certified as a “Santa Fe Specialist” and she distributed a monthly magazine of real estate related interests to past, present, and future clients. She delighted in helping guide people through the complexities of real estate transactions. Whether buying or selling properties, Sondra was always there to help.

Sondra was beloved by friends, neighbors, and her community. She was known for her incredible spark and sparkle, her deep heart, her playful nature, her creativity, and her love of beauty, Mother Earth, art, and ideas.

She loved to hike in nature. From the Milford Track in New Zealand, the Coastal Path in Wales, or in the hills and mountains of New Mexico, that is where she was most at peace.

Sondra was an independent thinker, an under-the-radar artist and poet, a master gardener who planted with birds, bees, and butterflies in mind always. She always loved her dogs and they always loved her back. She loved books, art, and travel and was a lifelong seeker of healing pathways and spiritual wisdom. She had a gift for creating beauty—in her home, her garden, her personal style, and her tender ways of being and living on this planet. To the very end of her life, she followed her own rules and inner guidance, choosing unique paths that remained true to her spirit.

Sondra cherished deep connection with others. Her compassionate presence touched many lives, and she inspired those around her through the beauty, authenticity, and courage with which she lived. A bright spirit, she shared much wisdom and many blessings with her friends and loved ones before she passed. She will be deeply missed, long celebrated, and lovingly remembered by those who knew and loved her.
