Soña Antionette Romero

Soña Antionette Romero, 32 years of age from Llano Quemado passed away on April 20, 2025. Soña was welcomed home on the resurrection day of our Lord.

Soña loved everyone. She would give the shirt off her back to whom ever needed it. She loved riding horses and being in the mountains. Soña was such a happy person. She loved her music and dancing. You could hear her laughter over a crowd. She leaves behind her mark on many people’s hearts and lives.

Soña is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Leonardo (Lalo) & Bertha T Romero, her maternal grandfather Arthur V Archuleta, uncles Mike Romero and Rick Archuleta, her aunts Edna Romero and Joyce Vigil.

She is survived by her two handsome sons whom she loved so very much, Valentino & Alejandro, her parents David L & Christa J Romero, sisters Amanda Archuleta (Pancho), Kimberly Raine (Dennis), brothers Matthew Medina (Britt), Leonardo Romero (Jamie) & David A Romero.

Soña loved all her nephews and nieces. Each one had a special connection to her; Arthur, Christina, Erica, Lucy Gutierez, Ally Archuleta, Jacob Raine, Gabriella Celene, Elenamerie, and Juliette Rose Medina.

A public viewing will be held on Sunday April 27, 2025, from 5-6 PM with Rosary and Eulogy from 6-8 PM at Rivera Chapel.

Burial will be held on Monday April 28, 2025. We will meet at Rivera Family Funeral Home at 10:30AM and proceed to New Llano Quemado Cemetery. A reception to follow at Llano Quemado Community Center.
