Socorro Vargas Cordova, 53, of Santa Fe, passed away March 19, 2010 due to a lengthy illness. He is preceded in death by his parents Guadalupe Vargas and Teleflora Cordova, and great-nephew Irvin. Socorro was born June 26, 1956 in Gomes Farias, Chihuahua, Mexico. He worked in Santa Fe as a Construction worker.
He is survived by two daughters, two sons, two granddaughters, seven brothers, four sisters, and special friend and girlfriend Margarita Jaramillo. Socorro is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on March 23, 2010 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
