Sheila Louise Reinig

Sheila Louise Reinig, 68, entered eternal life on December 22, 2025, surrounded by her family and friends’ love. Sheila grew up with an adventurous free spirit, a quick wit, beauty beyond compare, and a heart that loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with a special devotion to the Blessed Mother.

A devoted sister, daughter, and friend, Sheila had a gift for making people feel seen and valued. She poured her creativity into her work as an artist and makeup designer, where her vibrant imagination touched countless projects. Outside of work, she found joy in attending Mass, traveling, snow skiing, golfing, swimming, and walking. Sheila’s faith was most important to her as a devout Catholic. She attended Mass and was a daily communicant at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Sheila was passionate about defending the unborn. She actively participated and was a co-founder at The Pregnancy Resource Center – Gift of Life and The Project for Defending Life. She also appealed to the State of New Mexico Legislature annually to vote pro-life. She sought knowledge and had an Applied Science Degree from Santa Fe Community College.

Sheila’s kindness and compassion changed lives, and her evangelizing demeanor brought countless people back to their faith. She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Mike Reinig, Den Reinig, Carol and (Gene) Sullivan, Mary Ann Steen and Kathleen (Bill) Enloe. Nieces and Nephew, Aaron (Jill) Enloe, Colleen (Roy) Van Tiem, Jenny (Chad) Dumdei, Tracy (Lance) Stallings and Kari and Jackie Steen. She was preceded in death by her parents Phil and Beverly Reinig. She had a devoted circle of friends who became family and were by her bedside when she passed. A special thanks to Sheila’s dear friends for their dedication and love. Sheila leaves behind her beloved kitty, Bear.

A Funeral Mass will be held for Sheila on January 12, 2026, at 10 AM with a Rosary preceding the Mass at 9 AM. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church 511 Alicia St. Santa Fe, NM 87501. Interment will be at 1:15 P.M. at 499 N Guardalupe St., Santa Fe NM 87501. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Our Lady of Guadalupe Soup Kitchen or St. Anne Catholic Church.
