Sheila Ann Gallegos

Sheila Ann Gallegos, 59 of Santa Fe, NM went home to be with our Lord and Savior on May 12, 2026.

Sheila was the first child born on March 31, 1967 to William & Margie Gallegos. She was proceeded in death by her loving father William Gallegos whom she adored.

Sheila leaves behind her mother, Margie Gallegos, her daughters Kathleen Gallegos (Anthony), Christine Ortega (Matt), the love of her life fiancé Rick Ortiz, sister Shirley Sandoval (Paul), brothers William Gallegos Jr., Steven Gallegos (Crystal), grandsons’ Issac, Massen, Anthony Jr., Matthew Jr., along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Sheila worked at Talavera Apartments for the past 16 years where she had an extended work family that she loved dearly.

Sheila lived life to the fullest. She had a gift of making people feel welcome and made friends wherever she went. She had a way of making people laugh and left an unforgettable mark on everyone fortunate enough to have known her. She carried a zest for life that could light up a room and lift the hearts of those around her. She impacted the lives of many and was loved dearly. She will be remembered for her generous heart, her humor and her strength.

Sheila loved to sing. She enjoyed going to games to go see her favorite football team the Dallas Cowboys. She enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, going to movies, concerts and spending time with family and friends. She will be so deeply missed.

Funeral Services are pending with St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 511 Alicia Street, Santa Fe, NM.
