Severiana Varela passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025 surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Nestor Varela Jr., and her son, Johnny Varela.

She is lovingly remembered by her eight daughters: Agapita, Sophie, Martha, Evelyn, Rose, Elvira, Cecilia, and Eliza. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews—all of whom will forever cherish her enduring kindness, strength, and warmth.

A special note of gratitude goes to Vicky, whom Severiana regarded as a daughter, for her unwavering love and support.
