Samuel Wade Moore passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on November 14, 1955, Sam lived a life marked by intelligence, devotion to those he loved, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.
Sam was a machinist and worked as a tool and dye maker, bringing skill and care to his craft. He earned his high school diploma and carried throughout life a sharp mind and a natural ability to organize and delegate whatever was placed before him. He was always someone others could rely on, and someone who approached life with both capability and heart.
Sam found great joy in the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, trapper, fisherman, and true outdoorsman. Among his many interests, he especially enjoyed collecting fishing rods and reels, a hobby he pursued with real enthusiasm. This simple pastime became one of the many small but memorable parts of his life that those who knew him well will remember.
More than anything, Sam will be remembered for the love he gave his family. He was an amazing father and grandfather. He was always supportive of his grandchildren, generously giving his time and care in everyday ways. Those acts of steady presence spoke clearly of the kind of man he was: dependable, loving, and proud of the people he cherished.
Sam also had a gift for lifting others. He enjoyed sharing jokes and making people smile, and that warmth left a lasting impression on those around him. His laughter, kindness, and fun-loving spirit will be deeply missed.
Samuel Moore will be remembered with love for his intelligence, his humor, his strength, and the deep affection he showed to his family. His memory will live on in the many ordinary and extraordinary moments he made brighter simply by being there.
Sam is survived by his siblings, Doyl Moore and Carol Davis, his daughters, Rachel Moore and Rebekah Moore, his grandchildren Chloe Reynolds and Rowan Reynolds, and many dear friends, among them Terry Hensley and Lori McCarty.
