Ruth Ortiz

Ruth Ortiz was born on November 26,1945 she grew up and graduated high school in Penasco, NM and lived most of her life in Santa Fe. She passed away on March 22,2024. 

In her younger years she worked for Brewer Oil and Furrs Cafeteria. She loved to dance, crochet, read books and she loved her family dearly.

She is preceded in death by husband Edward Ortiz, father Manuel Trujillo, mother Corina Trujillo, grandmother Delfina Sandoval, niece Heather Ortiz and Nephew Dominic Uranga 

She is survived by her daughter Amanda (Brandon), grandson Mason Dasher. Sister Grace Quintana, Brothers David Trujillo and Paul Martinez (Judy), special niece Pamela, Brothers in-law  Bob (Marta), Leroy, Mike, Joe (Tammy) Sisters in law Yvonne (Ramona), Yolanda (Vern), Shirley (Floyd) Brenda (Robert), Julie and many more nieces, and,nephews. 

Mass will be held at 10:00am April 22nd at Santa Maria De La Paz. Interment will follow at 1:00pm at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
