Rudolf “Rudy” Gonzales Rudy Gonzales, age 70, of Santa Fe, passed away on July 6, 2017 in Santa Fe, New Mexico due to a short illness. He is preceded in death by his father, Joe Gonzales, his mother, Deleria Gonzales, father-in-law, Ignacio Flores, and sister-in-law, Laura Flores. He is survived by his wife, Lucia, sons: Troy (Steff), Rudy Jr. (Amy), Shaun (Hollie), Adam Sandoval (Jamie), daughters: Melissa Danieli (Nicolas), Ashley Martinez, sister, Janette Cuffe (Gary), brother, Joe Gonzales (Sondra), mother-in-law, Delia Flores, brothers-in-law: Lawrence Flores (Shirley), Leonard Flores (Carmella), Louis Flores (Donna), grandchildren: Courtney, Tiffany, Anthony, Torrey, Zia, Bijou, Ayden, Koen, Jack, Lathan, Stella, and Santana, close friends, Stanley and Priscilla Moya. Rudy was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the US Marines, and was an administrator with the NM Department of Corrections. Pallbearers: Troy Gonzales, Rudy Gonzales Jr., Shaun Gonzales, Adam Sandoval, Nicolas Danieli, Stanley Moya. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Rivera Family Kiva Chapel, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm, Wednesday evening. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Santa Maria de la Paz Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 12:45 pm, with full military honors at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Reception to follow at the FOP.
