Robert Salas

On June 21, 2023, Robert passed away peacefully at his residence in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by this wife Genny and survived by his children, Marsha, Mark, Melissa, and their families. 

Robert was born and raised in Raton, New Mexico. In 1948 he showed his adventurous side and joined the Navy. He served for four years during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1952. During his work life, Robert worked as an Electronic Engineer. After Robert retired, he and his wife, Genny, moved to Las Vegas, Nevada for several years. They returned to New Mexico in 2015 to be closer to their family. Robert was a devoted family man who enjoyed going to the casino and working on technical projects.

A private memorial service will be held in the fall.
