Raymond Leroy George Sr.

Raymond Leroy George Sr., of Espanola, New Mexico, passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 81. He was born on January 8, 1945, in Bayview, Alabama.

Raymond will be remembered as an outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed racing hot rods and especially loved cruising in his son’s 1984 Camaro. He also leaves behind the memory of good food and good company, including his venison tenderloin with scrambled eggs, a meal remembered with affection.

Those who knew Raymond will remember a man who found joy in the outdoors, in fast cars, and in sharing simple moments with the people around him. His life will be remembered with love by all who knew him.
