Raymond Anthony Costa

Raymond Anthony Costa was born to Judy and Bob on August 31, 1964 in Sacramento California. He was raised in Vallejo CA with siblings Rob and Tony. As a teenager Ray met Betsy Work, his first wife and the mother of his sons Joseph and Travis. Following his parents, Ray relocated to Nevada in the early 80's seeking work in the mining industry, where he would hone a mechanical aptitude to become a well respected and well-known welder and fabricator. In the early 90's Ray fathered Shay Lea, his youngest daughter, with Tammy Collins. At this time he settled in the Elko area, where he would spend the majority of his remaining years working, proudly, for Barrick Goldstrike, Snyder Mechanical and Alternative Maintenance Solutions. In addition to his three biological children, Ray helped raise his surrogate daughter Fallon Renae. When not working, Ray was an avid Harley enthusiast and Elvis superfan. Ray died on November 22, 2025, aged 61, in Angel Fire New Mexico, where he spent the final years of his life helping his oldest son build and run the Monte Verde RV Park. Beyond his 4 children, he leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 2 daughter-in laws and ex-wife Sandra Costa. Ray's cremated remains will be laid to rest with his beloved mother in his native California. No public services will be held. Rest well dad, we love you.
