Ramon Anchondo 81, died peacefully on February 20, 2015 after a brief illness. He was born in Deming, New Mexico. He was the seventh child of Susana and Francisco Anchondo. He was a Korean War veteran serving from 1951 to 1955. He worked with General Dynamics in Detroit until his retirement after which he came home to Santa Fe to share life with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Juan, Jose, Francisco and sister, Carmen Petrikat.
He is survived by his sisters, Socorro Anchondo, Susana Montoya (Delfino), brothers, Miguel (Sharon), Enrique, Anthony (Eva), and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Monastery.
Rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. with Mass to follow at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Santuario Catholic Church. Burial will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:15 a.m.
