Ralph Gladfelter

Ralph J. Gladfelter Jr., 84, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015. He was born in Chicago, IL and grew up in Springfield, MA. He served in the USAF during the Korean conflict. Following his military service, he worked at Pratt & Whitney, the Springfield Armory, and Hamilton Standard. He then moved to NM to work at LANL and retired after 33 years. He was preceded in death by his sons, Ralph Gladfelter III, Jeffrey Gladfelter, grandson, Kevin Gladfelter, and parents, Ralph Joseph Gladfelter, and Margaret Home Gladfelter Burkey. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Farley Gladfelter, son, Alan (Cynthia) Gladfelter, daughters: Heather Gladfelter, Sharon (Patrick) Werick, grandchildren: Tristan Gladfelter, Cierra Gladfelter, Patrick Werick, and Seth Werick. A Rosary will be recited at 10 am with Funeral Mass following at 11 am at St. Annes Catholic Church on Friday, September 11, 2015. Burial will be held at a later date.
