Ralph S Pattelena

It is with sadness and joy that we announce our dear father Ralph Pattelena’s passing on to the good lord on November 25th 2025 at the age of 88.

Ralph was born on December 27th 1936 in Stoneham, MA and grew up in Everett MA with his mother Adeline, father Steve and sister Marie. He attended Cornell University and was the first in his family to graduate college receiving a master’s degree in Engineering and business administration.

Ralph was an amazing father, mentor, friend and businessman. He successfully started a construction equipment company in Saudi Arabia in 1978 and worked and lived with his family there for 8 years. In 1991 he moved to Santa Fe where he started Professional Inspections & Evaluations a home inspection company which he ran for 34 years until his passing.

He was quiet, humble, honest and a very hard working man. He always tried to do the right thing. He was a true example of how to live a life of integrity and never compromised his standards for money or material gain.

He was a walking monument to goodness. His faith in God, his love for family and his high moral standards were unmatched.

He is survived by his wife Barbara of 58 years, his daughter Teri and her children Rachel and Scott and Scott’s wife Sheridan and their child Marley & his daughter Diane & her husband Alex, their son Luke and his partner Flaca, and his son Steve and his former wife Myoko, and their children Adeline and Cecilia and his sister’s children and their families Anthony, Maureen, Cheryl, Cathy, Gary, Stephen, Paul, John and their children and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his beautiful wife Marie, his sister Marie and her husband Tony, his mother Adeline, his father Steve, his aunts Rachel, Edith, Annie, Nickie, Ralph, John, and his dear nephews Ralph and Alex.

His family and friends loved him so much and feel honored to have had him as a loving presence in all of their lives. Please rest well Dad and we will all see you on the other side. God bless you and the amazing family you built!
