Pulita Andrea Benavidez

Pulita A. Benavidez born November 15, 1932, in El Rancho, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025. Pulita Benavidez went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 19, 2025. She is survived by her children, Stefanie Landes, Amy (Chris) Christiansen, Oliver Benavidez, Abel John Benavidez. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Abel Buddy Benavidez, Abraham Benavidez, and Brian Christiansen. She is also survived by her only surviving sibling, DeLores Gonzales and numerous other friends and relatives. She is also survived by her adopted daughter, Juanita Lovato and granddaughter Nikki Rogers and her very good friends Evila and Lola Romero. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Rev. Facundo Benavidez, her son, Facundo Benavidez Jr. and her son in law, Grant Landes. She was a woman of God, and along with her husband, they pastored two churches, also while caring for her handicapped son for 63 years. A celebration of life services will be held on October 28, 2025, at10:00am at Rivera Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be, Oliver Benavidez, Abel Benavidez, Chris Christiansen, Abel “Buddy” Benavidez, Abraham Benavidez and Ben Martinez.
