Phillip Matthew “Fly” Armijo, the youngest son of Isadora and Tony Armijo, was born on December 6, 1964…It is with great sorrow that his family announces his passing on October 26, 2025 at 60 after a recent illness. Born and raised in Santa Fe, he was a 1982 graduate of Santa Fe High School. He worked in the construction industry for many years until his sudden passing. Phillip served in the Army National Guard. He was known by his many friends as “Fly”
He is proceeded in death by his parents Isadora and Tony Armijo, his beloved niece, Sharon Boone, and brother John Armijo.
Surviving him are his three children Anthony Armijo (Tori), Adrienne Armijo, and Angelo “Kiko” Armijo (Tish). Other survivors include three grandchildren, Tegan, Cole and Jace. In addition, he is survived by Lydia Sanchez, his sister Nikki Boone, Michael Armijo (Martha), Robert Armijo (Anita), Gerard Armijo (Diana Dec.) Richard Gonzales (Irene), and many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Phillip enjoyed hunting, fishing, softball and his favorite teams, the Dodgers and Denver Broncos.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was patient, kind, forgiving and loved his family unconditionally. His passing has left a great void in the lives of those he loved and those that loved him.
Services will be held at St Johns Catholic Church 1301 Osage Ave on December 18, 2025 Rosary 10:00 am: Mass 11:oo am. Burial will be at Rosario 1:00 pm
