Peggy Virdene Costello, 70, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at her Santa Fe home, following a lengthy illness. She is survived by her husband, Michael Costello of Santa Fe, and her daughter, Maria Duncan and husband Mike of Hawaii. Verdene will be remembered for having a dedicated devotion to her Catholic Faith and serving in numerous ministries, along with her husband Michael, through out the area and especially at St. Anne’s Catholic Parish. A Rosary will be recited by members of the Blue Army, the Knights of Columbus and her family at 7:30 pm Monday, March 19, 2018 at St. Anne Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at St. Anne Catholic Church, with interment to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
