Peggy Mcclure Silva

Peggy McClure Silva, 82, died October 3rd, 2017. She was born in Santa Fe, NM on March 7th, 1935. Her parents were Margaret “Mugs” McClure and Thomas McClure. She was married to Joe Silva, June 6th, 1975. Peggy Silva was a graduate of Santa Fe High School and of the University of Missouri. Peggy had a great passion for dogs and horses. She was an equestrian instructor at William Woods Jr. College in Fullerton, Missouri and a member and supporter of the Santa Fe Horse Show Association. For eight years she worked for the NM State Fair in charge of the horse show committee. She worked as office manager for Hallquist-Thurman Associates for many years. Her Tesuque gardens reflected her avid gardening talents and were the setting for many great parties. Peggy loved a good party! At her request there will be no services and cremation has taken place. Her ashes will be spread at her lifelong home in Tesuque.
