Paul B. Benavidez

Paul P. Benavidez loving husband, father, brother uncle grandpa and great grandpa passed away on September 25, 2015 from this life on earth to a much greater calling to be with the lord Paul was born on August 23, 1946 and was a long time resident of Santa Fe, NM. Paul was the light in many of our lives and was a gift to all those who were fortunate enough to be a part of his life. He had a joy for life and there was nothing he loved more than visiting with his family. He radiated warmth and love. His strength and faith were qualities that were admired by all, he had a personal relationship with Jesus and it was apparent as he continued to pray his rosary until he took his last breaths. He enjoyed being a part of the Knights of Columbus and riding his Harley Davidson. There is no man on this earth that could compare to the man he was. Never knowing him was the only loss greater than losing this amazing man. Although he will be missed, we will never forget the joy and love the husband father , brother , uncle , grandfather , great grandfather , and friend has brought to each and every one of us. We will continue to carry his legacy in our hearts and in our memories forever!! He was preceded in death by his father Armando Benavidez mother, Jean Lopez He is survived by his wife Theresa Benavidez, his son Carlos Benavidez (Charlene) his daughter Cecilia Benavidez (Anthony Lerouge), his grandchildren Yvette, Yolanda, Kristiana, Clarissa, Angel, Monica an Chantelle Benavidez and one great granddaughter Elise Sanchez sister Carmen Baca his niece and many friends. A Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 6:00p.m. at St. Annes Catholic Church followed by a rosary at 7:00p.m. Mass of a Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 10:00a.m. followed with burial at Rosario Cemetery.
