Patrick G. Romero, lovingly known as “Pat,” was born on October 27, 1953, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, he passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Family was the center of Pat’s life and his greatest pride. He was a loving husband to Deb and together they shared many wonderful years raising their children Maggie, Patty, Valerie, and Greg. While he cherished his children deeply and was endlessly proud of them, the arrival of each grandchild brought new depths of love, warmth, and joy.
Pat’s warm sense of humor brought laughter to every room, along with unforgettable stories and playful jokes that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be remembered for his hardworking hands and sharp wit. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit endures through the stories shared, the masterpieces he so proudly created, and the family he loved with all his heart.
Pat is survived by his wife Debbie; his children, Maggie, Patty (Curtis), Valerie (Estevan), and Greg; his grandchildren, Victor, Matthew, Ariyana, Haley, Bryce, Ayanna, Jalea, Estevan, Jazlyn, Abriyam, Santos, LaDanian (Shay), and Ronald; his brothers, Charlie (Annette), (Sister-in-law Georgia), Michael, Richard, Chris (Janet), and Alvin (Patty); his sisters, Liz, Anna, Carolyn, and Angela; and mother-in-law Pauline; along with many extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio “Tony” and Aurelia Romero; his father-in-law, Richard “Dickie” Rodriguez; his beloved twin sons; his brother, Henry Romero; and his sisters, Teresa “Tee” Ortiz de Jesus (George) and Bernadette “Berna” Romero.
A Rosary will be held at St. Anne’s Parish on February 25, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., Mass at 10:00 a.m.
Please join the family for a reception immediately following the mass at the parish hall.
