Pat Aragon

Pat Aragon, age 87, went peacefully to his Lord and Savior on September 5, 2026 surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Pat proudly served in the New Mexico National Guard, where he spend his career before retirement. Throughout his life, he had a a strong commitment to his family and to his wife, Jo Ann, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage. He also enjoyed staying active with a lifelong commitment to exercise and physical fitness.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann; three children; and twelve grandchildren. He was preceded in passing by a son.

Pat lived a long life and his family will remember him in their own way and carry with them memories of the years they shared.

May he rest in peace.

Family and friends are invited to gather Thursday, October 1, 2026 from 9:30am-11:30am at Rivera Funerals & Cremations, 417 Rodeo Rd. Santa Fe, NM 87505 and share breakfast as Pat always treasured sending those he cared about to breakfast. A Funeral Service will follow at noon. Pat will be laid to rest at 2:00pm with military honors following the service at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N Guadalupe St. Santa Fe, NM 87501.
