Miranda passed away unexpectedly at the age of 38.
She was often a quiet observer, present and taking in her surroundings whether chaos or beauty. She paid attention to others, their strengths, struggles, quirks and locked those little clues about how each of us worked in the back of her mind for another time. Another time when she would bring joy, love and creativity through thoughtful gifts of love. In many ways she was fearless. Fearless around death (laughing at turbulence on a plane, courageous and steadfast with those in pain with life threatening illnesses, courageous around animals that many feared or movies most could not sit through). She saw beauty in imperfection, nature and art. She invested so much time in others whether it was her patients and their families (working holidays, wearing festive outfits and imaginative earrings to lift the spirits of her patients) or her own family and friends, taking her nieces to the movies, zoo and finding fun art activities to engage with them). Her thoughtful gestures, tokens and gifts brought awe and a deep sense of love and being known. Her laugh is unforgettable and her sense of justice inspiring.
She is survived by her parents Ray and gloria, and her siblings Brian, Jessica (Tony) Michelle (Ryan) and Nephews Jack and Jamie, and nieces Bonnie, Evaline and Luna
She will always be loved in our hearts forever
