Michael Anthony Quinto, 42, of Angel Fire, New Mexico, passed away at home on December 7, 2025. 

Born December 1, 1983, in Amarillo, Texas, Michael was the son of Anthony and Kathleen Quinto. 

Known to many as “Cowboy Mike,” he found his greatest joy outdoors. Whether fly fishing or working with horses, he felt most at peace in the mountains, where he embraced the quiet beauty of nature. A gifted home builder with an uncanny ability to fix almost anything, he took pride in his work and in the homes he helped create. 

Cooking was another passion through which he expressed connection. As the family grill master, Michael took great care in preparing meals, turning ordinary dinners into cherished gatherings where stories were shared and laughter came easily. 

Michael was always ready to lend a hand, especially in times of need. His generosity and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He lived fully and authentically, reminding those around him to experience life deeply and without hesitation. 

Above all, Michael loved his two beautiful daughters. Even when life pulled things in different directions, that love never wavered. He treasured the time they spent together, especially outdoors, wanting to share with them the places and experiences which meant so much to him. Those memories remain with the family he loved. 

He is survived by his parents, Anthony and Kathleen Quinto; his daughters, Claire Marie Quinto of Pulaski, Tennessee, and Bella Marie Quinto of The Woodlands, Texas; his sister, Nicole Quinto Talley (Paul) of Hoover, Alabama; and his niece, Katherine Marie Talley. 

He is also survived by his grandmother, Lucille Quinto of Amarillo, Texas; his aunts, Connie Moody of Naples, Florida, Lisa Quinto of Hamilton, Virginia, and Bonnie Arnold (Malcolm) of Bordeaux, France; his uncle, Jerry Quinto (Jacki) of Amarillo, Texas; as well as many cousins and dear friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerald Quinto and James and Dorothy Rosenberger.
