Michael A. Johnson

Michael passed peacefully after a brief illness. He is survived by his parents, Don and Ginny Johnson of Poolville, TX, his long time partner Jeff Isaacs of Santa Fe, and many friends. Michael was a dedicated employee of New Mexico Cancer Care for 28 years. He adored the outdoors including hiking, camping, skiing and exploring the many wonders of New Mexico. His love for animals was unparalleled. Michael spent many years as an exceptional actor in local theatre. When he wasn’t enjoying the outdoors, you could find him engrossed in a book with music playing in the background. He loved gardening and spending time creating a fancy dish in his kitchen. The many memories we have of Michael will live forever in our hearts. There will be a private memorial honoring Michael’s life.
