Michael Anthony Bowker

Michael Anthony Bowker age 65, was born on January 16, 1960, in Santa Fe and passed away on September 29, 2025 in Santa Fe at his home. He is preceded in death by his mother Mable Roybal, father George Bowker Jr, and stepmother Lida Bowker, brother Bobby Bowker, and sister Shirley Piccandra. Survived by his daughter Jennifer Joy Bowker-Anaya and husband Brian Anaya, son Michael Anthony Bowker II, grandchildren Anthony Bowker, and James Bowker-Fullem. Gloria Anne Montoya the mother of his children. His sister Pamela Bowker, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Bowker, Joey Bowker and Kabrina and other nieces and nephews. He was close to his best friend Charlie Elliott. He stayed close to the Montoya and Romero families.

Michael was a skilled Carpenter and he worked for various positions in different organizations and companies and was great in his profession as a Carpenter. He had a humble Heart and did many side jobs for family whether it was a leaking roof, framing, tile work, and all the skills of the Carpenter trade. He was very proud of what he did and was known for precision and fine tuning. If you worked with Mike, he was always working with a sense of humor. Not a single day in his life did he go without a joke, or a punch line to break the ice. In his younger days he performed a comedy routine on a weekly basis at a local Bar. Mike loved watching his Dallas Cowboys play.

Jennifer was the best thing that happened in his life and then came Michael Anthony Bowker II. Michael was his little buddy. When he became a grandfather, he was so happy to see Anthony. Years later his grandson James was born and Mike raised him as his own son. His favorite pastime was camping, fishing, and Baseball.

Rosary to be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 10:00am. Mass will immediately follow at 10:30. Burial will follow at Rosario Cemetery at 12:00.
