Mary Lois Atkins

Lois Atkins, 85, a resident of Ponce De Leon passed away on August 23, 2011. She was born in Harlan County, Kentucky to Virgil and Della Brock. Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Atkins and son, David Atkins. She is survived by her son, Larry Atkins (Teri) of Pascagula, Mississippi, son, Roger Atkins (MaryAnne Redding) of Santa Fe, sister-in-law, Gladys Atkins, grandchildren, Nova Atkins, Sara Gibson (Russ), Somer Herliekson (Miles), Adam Simpkins (Rachel), David Atkins, Brianna Atkins, and great grandsons, Skylar Herliekson and Sam Simpkins. She lived and worked as a professional musician in Matthews, N.C. She lived in Matthews, N.C., where she raised her family. Funeral Services will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina.
