Mary C Gonzales

Mary C. Gonzales, 89, went to our Lord Jesus Christ on February 2, 2016. A resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Mary was born in Monticello, New Mexico on January 11, 1927, the daughter of Florinda Gonzales and Fernando Chavez. She is preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband Carlos N. Gonzales, she leaves behind many nieces and nephews and cousins who loved her very much. Mary was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, her faith in the Lord expressed itself in the way she lived her life. She was a very loving person and we will never forget her “bendiciones” and how she blessed us whenever we left her presence and even when we were far away. And today, she blesses us from the house of the Lord. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 8:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with mass of Christian burial to follow at 9:00 AM with Father Nathan Libaire to officiate. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 417 E. Rodeo Rd. Serving as Pallbearers will be: Albert Lucero, Alfonso Gonzales, Fred Sena, Louie Zamora, Ron Lucero and Steve Lucero. The family would like to thank La Vida Hermosa staff for the wonderful care and affection given Aunt Mary. Arrangements are under the direction of Rivera Family Funeral Home.
