Maryann lived a life defined by her thirst for adventure. She was born in New York on August 28, 1945, to her parents, Estelle McGlinchey and Francis Wilms. She was a world traveler, avid reader, great cook, and community midwife who helped deliver many babies.

Maryann's treasures were the people she loved. She is survived by her significant other of 32 years Glenn, her children Barbara Wheeler who resides in Florida, Hope Salazar, Javier Moruno, Mimi Moruno and her grandchildren Antonio C. Salazar, Alia Salazar, Jacob Griffin, James Margwarth, Jeremiah Wheeler, Nicholas Griffin, Josh Robertson and Jeremiah Seigler. All of whom will carry her adventurous spirit and great sense of humor with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents and only brother Charles.

Her final adventure was peaceful and guided by family and friends who love her.
