Mary Ann
Armijo (Hoover)
Aug 29, 1942 — Jul 25, 2026
Mary Ann Armijo (Hoover), 83, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 25, 2026. Born August 29, 1942, Mary Ann was a woman of deep faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and a true prayer warrior, faithfully praying for anyone who asked. She served her community for a short time as a police officer with the Santa Fe Police Department, later worked as a secretary for the State of New Mexico, cared lovingly for her daughter Judi, and also ran a small business. She loved her family dearly and was known for her warmth, her joyful spirit, the light of Jesus Christ people saw in her, and the joy she found in her flower gardens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Diego Armijo; her parents, Dave and Pauline Hoover; her in-laws, Diego and Justa Armijo; her children, Steve, Tim, and Judith; her brothers, Richard and Larry Hoover; and many beloved in-laws and relatives.
She is survived by her son, Frank Armijo, and her beloved dog, Baxter; her sister and brother-in-law, Liz and Benny Roybal; her sister-in-law, Connie Hoover; her many cherished nephews and nieces; and extended family and friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
