Martin John Perea

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Martin John Perea, who departed this world surrounded by loved ones.

He is preceded in death by his beloved father, John Perea; mother, Isabel Perea; and brother, Steve Perea. Martin is survived by his loving sister, Cecilia Chavez and, Louie Chavez; his sister, Anna Perea and her boyfriend, Paul Narvaiz; along with cherished nieces and nephews, Mariah Chavez, Mandy Moya, and Brandon Roybal. And many friends and family.

Martin was born and raised in Cerrillos, New Mexico, where he spent his childhood exploring the great outdoors and embarking on numerous adventures. From a young boy, Martin was known for his adventurous spirit. He shared a deep bond with his father, spending countless hours helping him with livestock and working on tractors. This time spent together solidified his love for the land and the traditions of his family.

A gentle soul with a kind heart, Martin touched the lives of many through his generosity and compassion. He will be remembered for his adventurous nature and the love he had for his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Martin's life, honoring the wonderful memories and the joyful spirit he shared with us all. Services will be held at St Joseph Catholic Church in Los Cerrillos NM on June 13th Rosary 9:30 am Mass 10am
