Martin Dominguez

April 23, 1952 — August 17, 2025

Martin Dominguez, age 73, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on August 17, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on April 23, 1952, in Ranch Majalca, Chihuahua, Mexico, Martin built a life filled with hard work, kindness, and love. He spent many years as a dedicated truck and delivery driver, a career that suited him perfectly, as he cherished meeting new people and sharing friendly conversations wherever he went. His warm smile, friendly waves to all he encountered, and easygoing nature made him a friend to many.

Martin was preceded in death by his parents, father Trinidad Dominguez, mother Ramona Munoz, stepfather Melchor Corral, brother Anastacio Dominguez and sister Louisa Dominguez.

Above all else, Martin was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a cherished brother. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra; his two sons Martin (Tammy Adams, Fiancé) and Eric Dominguez, and his brothers and sister, Socorro, Mario, Hector (Roma), Juan (Palma), Raul (Paulina) and sister Concepcion (Benjamin), and many beloved nieces and nephews who will carry his memories in their hearts. He also cherished all his beloved dogs who have gone on to doggy heaven, and of course his four-legged grand puppies, Oskar and Duncan. He also had countless friends who loved him dearly. He will be remembered as a good man, a beloved husband, a cherished “Daddy”, a wonderful brother and a great friend – one whose greatest joy was spending time with those he loved.

Family and friends will forever treasure his generous spirit, his humor, his love of music, his love for animals and the many ways he made life brighter for those around him. He leaves behind countless memories that will continue to inspire and comfort all who knew him.

A mass will be held on September 15, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Santa Maria de la Paz Catholic Church, with a service to follow at Rivera Funeral Memorial Gardens, and finally a celebration of life and a luncheon for all family and friends at the Santa Maria de la Paz Parish Hall.

The family would especially like to thank the wonderful staff at CHRISTUS St. Vincent Hospital and Cancer Center who took care of Martin with such love and compassion, and we will always be forever grateful. We would also like to thank the wonderful volunteer staff at Scott’s House and the staff from Compassus, all who treated Martin with dignity and kindness in his final days.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to CHRISTUS St. Vincent Foundation for the CHRISTUS St. Vincent Cancer Center or to Scott’s House.
