Magdalena Santistevan

Magdalena Santistevan, 81, of Llano Quemado passed away on April 02, 2015. She was the manager for the Santa Fe office of the American Cancer Society. She also worked for many years at the Taos Library of the Taos Municipal Schools. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Santistevan, MSGT. (RET.) US Army, who passed away 7 days prior, on March 27, 2015. She is also preceded in death by son, David Santistevan, parents, Gilbert C. and Maria Luisa Rivera, brothers, Armando Rivera, Louis Rivera, Tony Rivera, Fernando Rivera, sisters, Sally Martinez and Molly Ferguson and Senaida Vigil. She is survived by her children, Sandra Santistevan, Julie Chavez (Norberto) and James Santistevan (Rose), grandchildren, Amy, Lynda, Maggie, Evette, Alycia, Ashley and Raquel, great grandchildren, Amanda, Raelynn, Jackie, Brianna, Caiti, Cutter and Santiago, sisters, Donna Hymes (Jim) and Maria Gallegos (Alex), uncle, Conrad Rivera, many other relatives and friends. Rosary for both Magdalena and Jimmy will be recited on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 7 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Funeral mass for both will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 9 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Interment will be held at a later date.
