Louie Bailon

Louie Bailon of Questa NM, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the age of 78, surrounded by his loving family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Josie and Gilbert Bailon, his sister Nancy Montoya, and his parent in laws, Nick and Anita Cisneros.

Louie is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Nola Bailon, daughter April (Joe), and sons Brandon (Rachel and Gilbert (Melissa), six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. 

Louie was born in Questa on December 13, 1946, and graduated from Questa High school in 1965. Louie was always known to be a hard worker, devoted husband, and dedicated father. He worked at Molycorps for 32 years, retiring on 2005. 

Rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at St. Anthony's Church, Questa, at 6:00PM. 

Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at St. Anthony's Church, at 10:00AM, followed by burial at San Pedro Cemetery.
