Lorraine P. Garcia

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lorraine Garcia. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, cousin and a special friend to many who knew her. Lorraine left us on April 10, 2026. She was born on January 28, 1957 in Santa Fe, New Mexico to the late Ramon and Rosina Garcia. She is preceded in death by her siblings Michael, Robert and Bernice Garcia, stepsons Mark and Paul Saiz and Richard Abruzzo. She is survived by her sisters Teresa and Joyce Garcia and step daughter Nancy Abruzzo.

Lorraine has three grandchildren, Robert Garcia and Jarrod and Amanda Barrera. Very special people in Lorraine's life include Leonard Saiz, Timothy Sena, Rosalie Sanchez, Bryan Salazar, Martin Valdez, Ramon Lujan, Raul and Susan Virgin, Paul and Rhea Espinoza, Roy and Mary Weidner, Ramon Cordova and Jim and Denise Hamilton.

Her dearest and best friend, Rosalie Sanchez, recalls them taking long walks during the Spring. Lorraine enjoyed picking and eating the cherries, apricots and apples that Rosalie grows on her property. Lorraine enjoyed eating green apricots and apples with salt and loved the tortillas at Black Mesa Casino.

Lorraine had touched many lives and was known for her vibrant sense of humor, generous spirit, and unwavering support for those she loved.

She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched. The most notable and important thing that Lorraine gave us in this world was LOVE.

A 9:00 a.m. Rosary and 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Anne's Catholic Church on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
