In Loving Memory of Linda Madrid de Espinosa

Linda Madrid de Espinosa, 77, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026.

Linda was born on February 18, 1949, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, to Dolores and Demetrio Madrid. She was raised in Santa Fe, where she met her husband, Aurelio Martin Espinosa, affectionately known as Marty. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised six children, creating a family that grew to include 24 grandchildren.

Linda's first love was God, and she remained a faithful and devoted Catholic throughout her life. She was a loyal and devoted member of her church, and anyone who knew Linda knew of her immense love for God and her unwavering commitment to her faith. Her faith was a source of strength, comfort, and guidance throughout her life.

Throughout her life, Linda was blessed to call several places home, including Santa Fe, New Mexico; Seattle, Washington; Seaside, Oregon; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and, ultimately, Norman, Oklahoma. She loved to travel and embraced the experiences and memories each place brought into her life.

Linda had a special love for the holidays, especially Christmas, and joyfully passed that love on to her children. The holiday season held a special place in her heart, bringing together the traditions, warmth, and family connections she cherished so deeply.

In the late 1990s, Linda discovered her passion for real estate in Oklahoma City. She quickly became much more than a realtor to her clients. Through her dedication, and genuine care for others, she built lasting relationships and became a trusted friend to many.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Marty; her daughter, Jeneen Lujan, and son-in-law, Victor Lujan; her son, Darin Espinosa; her daughter, Lenore Romero, and son-in-law, Paul Romero; her son, Sean Espinosa, and daughter-in-law, Lisa Espinosa; her son, Aubrey Espinosa, and daughter-in-law, Stephanie Espinosa; and her daughter, Alanna Sproles, and son-in-law, Justin Sproles. She is also survived by her sister, Denise Angel, and her brothers, Ron Madrid and Joseph Madrid, along with her 24 grandchildren, who were an important part of her life and legacy.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Dolores and Demetrio Madrid, and her grandson, Jeremy Lujan.

Linda will be remembered for her unwavering faith in God, her devotion to her Catholic faith, her love of travel, her enthusiasm for Christmas and the holiday traditions she passed down through generations, and the lasting friendships she formed throughout her life.

Though she will be deeply missed, Linda's legacy will continue through the generations of family, the faith she loved, and the many cherished memories she leaves behind. May she rest in the eternal peace and loving embrace of God, whom she loved so dearly throughout her life.
