Leonard Frutoso Arellano 67, a longtime resident of Santa Fe, went home to be with the Lord in the peace and comfort of his residence in Santa Fe, N.M. on Thursday, December 10, 2015. Leonard was born on January 30, 1948 in Gallina, NM. Leonard was preceded in Death by Grandparents; Todocio Arellano, Gregorita Cañedo Arellano, Irene Rodriguez, Parent’s: Estevan & Camilla R. Arellano of Gallina, NM. infant son, Leonard F. Arellano Jr. Siblings: Joseph Arellano, Teodoro “Ted” Arellano, Patrick Arellano, Lupe Martinez, Alice Alvarez, and Evelyn Arellano. He is survived by 3 children: Jennifer Arellano, Freddie Arellano, Carol Arellano, 7 grandchildren. He is survived by siblings: Danny Arellano and wife Lita, Glendale, Ca, Beyo Arellano and wife Francis, Santa Fe, NM, Daniel Arellano and wife Esperanza, Española, NM, Vangie Griego and husband Ignacio, Albuquerque, NM, Mary Arellano, Teresa Arellano, Santa Maria Ca, and Patsy Arellano, Dalton, Ga. He will be missed and remembered by many nephews, nieces, who knew him as uncle “Tocho,” who he loved and entertained with his keen sense of humor, and for his famous quotes: “According to the Luke.” “Don’t you know, can’t you tell?” Serving as Pallbearers will be; Anthony Arellano, Ivan Arellano, Freddie Arellano, Michelle L. Arellano, Julienne Arellano, and Bayo Arellano. Honorary Pallbearers, his great nephews: Uriah Arellano, Elias Arellano, and Malachi Arellano. A Christian Memorial Service will be celebrated and officiated by Pastor Daniel Arellano at The Rock Christian Fellowship in Española, NM. Saturday, December 19, 2015, 10:00 am. Internment will follow at Loma Vista Cemetery in Alcalde, NM, where he will be laid to rest near His beloved parents.
