Leonard R. Jacquez – Age 40 a resident of Abiquiu passed away on Friday, February 23, 2007. He was proceeded in death by his parents: Bernabe and Dorothy Jacquez; and brothers: Leroy and Bernie Jacquez. May their souls rest in peace. He is survived by his daughter, Lucia Montoya of Nambe; sisters: MaryAnn Jacquez and companion Eddie Garcia, and Antonia Jacquez all of Española; nephews: Jay and Edward Jacquez of Española, Harold Barela of Coyote; nieces: Tracy Garcia and Pammy Sanchez of Española, Amanda and Janice Jacquez of Santa Fe and Valerie Jacquez of Farmington; aunt, Carmelita Jacquez; Uncle, Toby Gonzales both of Gallina. A rosary will be recited on Monday, February 26, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Catholic Church in Gallina with burial to follow at the Gallina Community Cemetery.
