Leane Suzette Madrid

It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of Leane Suzette Madrid. Leane was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. Born in Santa Fe, NM on June 3rd, 1977, graduate from Santa Fe High in 1995.

Leane was a loving and devoted mother to her two children Kryshana and Jonah Madrid whom she cherished above all else. She was a passionate, loyal and hard working woman that loved her family and friends.

Leane dedicated her career to the State of New Mexico, where she worked in Human Resources until her retirement in 2025. She approached her work with integrity, dedication, and compassion, leaving a lasting impression on the many lives she touched throughout her career.

Her strength, dedication and loyalty are an inspiration to all who were blessed to be a part of her life. We will miss her infectious laughter, quick wit, and unwaveringly loving spirit. Her legacy of resilience and kindness will remain in the hearts of those privileged to know her.

Leane is survived by her children, Kryshana and Jonah Madrid; her mother, Donna Valdes and step-father, Tim Valdes; her father, Ronald Madrid, and wife, Jessica Madrid; her siblings, Mandi Valdes, Jason Madrid, Christopher Madrid, and wife, Veronica Madrid; her nieces, Brienna and Amor; and her cherished granddaughter, Anastasia.

Leane also shared a special bond with her grandparents and was blessed to be surrounded by a large and loving extended family, including the Garcia, Madrid, Valdes, and Ortega/Abeyta families.

Rest in peace our sweet angel, we will miss you forever until we see you again.

A rosary will be held at St. Anne's Parish at 9:00am on August 4th, 2026 with Mass to follow at 10:00am.
