Juliana was born in Embudo NM. She was raised in Arroyo Hondo NM and resided in Taos for most of her life. Later she moved to Española and lived out her life with her children there. 

Juliana Santistevan was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Julian and Brenda (Garduño) Sandoval and her grandparents Leontino and Adela V. Garduño as well as her Godfather Reyes Garduño.  

She is survived by her sons Robert J Santistevan Jr and Johnny R Santistevan, her granddaughter Sophia and Robert Santistevan Sr. and Joseph Santistevan. She is also survived by her sister Neomi Sandoval-Bartrum (Ronald) and her brother Julian Sandoval. She is survived by her Godbrothers Leon Garduño and Isaac Raju as well as numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Juliana was a veteran Certified Nurse's Assistant and worked as a Palliative and End Care Provider for over 35 years. Her loving and caring nature made her beloved by many families who she served. She was an avid lover of the outdoors and an active member of her community. She will forever be missed.
