Josie F. Lopez, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend was called home to be with our Heavenly Father on Monday, July 18, 2022.
Josie was born to Felia and Jacobo Vigil on June 26, 1934.
Josie enjoyed cooking, playing bingo, slot machines and playing the piano. She loved spending time with her family.
Josie is survived by her loving daughter; Frances (Lopez) Garcia, grandsons; Tommy Garcia, Jeremy Garcia (Jessica), brothers; Frank Vigil, Jose Vigil; in-laws; Toni Vigil, Tony Abeyta, Mercy Gonzales (Tommy), Virginia Lopez, Susie Madrid, Benny Lopez, Cecilia Lopez, Angelica Lopez, Richard Martinez (Aurora), Tina Otero, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.
A Rosary for Josie will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 10:30 am at Cristo Rey Church, 1120 Canyon Rd., Santa Fe, NM with her funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 am. Interment will immediately follow at Rosario Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM.
Due to Covid, there will be no reception after.
