Jose Bernadino Chavez

Jose Bernardino Chavez, 76, of Los Cordovas passed away unexpectedly on March 18, 2016. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy M. Chavez, parents, Benjamin and Eutimia Chavez, sisters, Juanita and Magdalena Chavez, brother, Gilbert Chavez and Eugenio Chavez, nephew, Ben Chavez, niece, Patricia Chavez, in-laws, Celso and Gregorita Trujillo and many brothers and sister in-laws. He is survived by his children, Darlene Miera (Toby), Irene Aguilar, Leonard Chavez, grandchildren, Greg Romo (Cedar), Jennifer Aguilar (Olympia), Leonard Chavez Jr. (Elisaria), Angelo Chavez, great granddaughter, Haylee Dorothy Chavez, brother, Ernest Chavez (Ernestina), sisters in-law, Andreita and Ida Chavez and many close relatives and friends. Visitation was held on March 31, 2016 at Rivera Chapel. Rosary was recited on March 31, 2016. Funeral Mass was held on April 1, 2016. Both services were held at San Francisco de Asis with interment followed at the Los Cordovas Cemetery. Arrangements by Rivera Family Funeral Home.
