Jon Kim Janes

Jon Kim Janes passed away on 9/2/25. He will definitely be missed by his family and close friends. He always had a smile on his face and focused on interacting with his friends. He was a graduate of Henderson County High School in Henderson, Kentucky, and attended Western Kentucky University on a golf scholarship but ended up on a swimming scholarship.

He got interested in making jewelry and opened a business in Lubbock, Texas. He was quite the adventurer spending time in Mexico, Hawaii, Australia, west Texas, and Angel Fire, New Mexico. In Angel Fire, he busied himself with jewelry and a little construction.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held in the not too distant future. His family and close friends already miss him dearly.
