John (Tony) Gallegos

John (Tony) Gallegos passed away peacefully Sunday, February 1st, 2026 surrounded by the fond memories of family and friends. He was born on March 5th, 1950 and the only son of mother Rose Gallegos. He was the loving husband of Dorothy Gallegos and a faithful servant at Christian Life Santa Fe. He had two sons: Jonathan Gallegos and spouse Nicole and David Gallegos and spouse Mark. John had three grandchildren: Kayla, Jack, and Wyatt Gallegos. He also had two half-sisters: Diana and Michael Lopez and Theresa Briones who had one daughter. John had one half-brother Gary Gallegos (wife Sally deceased) and sons Gary Jr. and Chris. John attended Espanola High School and the College of Santa Fe. His career spanned 40 years working for New Mexico State Government. Instead of flowers, please send a donation to your favorite charity. Services will be held at Christian Life Santa Fe on Monday, February 23rd at 12:00PM. Ashes will be interred at Santa Fe Rivera Funeral Home by family only.
