Jesse Dylan Vigil

 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jesse Dylan Vigil, aged 53, who left us on June 24, 2025. Jesse was a father of four. His passions included skateboarding and working on the farm in Nambe. He was also pursuing an associate's degree in Drafting from Northern New Mexico Community College.

Born on October 7, 1971, Jesse lived a life marked by strength and dedication to those he loved. He was known for his commitment to his family and friends. His maternal grandparents were Benny and LaVaughn McMillan. His paternal grandparents were Longino and Sophia Vigil.

Jesse is survived by his children Mason, Cyrus, Violet, and Senaida, who will carry forward his legacy. His grandchildren are Zebulun Edward Morgan and Zedidiah Douglas Morgan. He is survived by his parents Douglas David Vigil (father), Evelyn Vigil (mother), Lea Ann Hinde (aunt), and Vaughn McMillan (uncle). Other surviving family members include Johanna Vigil-DeLeon (sister), and Lorenzo DeLeon (nephew) as well as many cousins and good friends. He leaves behind many cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A service will be held to honor Jesse’s life at the Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola on Monday July 21st at 11 am. All attending the service are invited to participate in a time of sharing. If you are unable to attend, you can also post fond memories or condolences on this site below.
